BRU Server Orphaned Stage Archive Patch

Posted: 08 Aug, 2007
This patch is mandatory for users that backup to disk and strongly recommended to all users.

An update has been released which resolves an issue with BRU Server's stage operations.

This patch fixes a problem of importing orphaned stage archives on heavily loaded systems.  When running the Housekeeping process, if you see the following messages when importing staged archives, this patch will resolve the problem:
Importing abandoned stage archive...
status: *** archive header info ***
Missing archive ID
This message usually repeats itself with every orphaned stage archive that it's trying to import.

This patch will resolve this and allow the import to complete successfully.
